Build Your Business
As a fellow therapist, I know what it feels like to feel confused and uncertain regarding the business elements of private practice. If you are like me, your formal training was in helping people, not in running a business. At the outset, starting a private practice can feel overwhelming and scary. However, with the right tools and support, it is more than possible to become the successful business owner you want to be.
Business areas of support:
Building and sustaining a caseload of clients.
Narrowing down areas of expertise.
Navigating the world of marketing, SEO, and website maintenance.
Building and sustaining professional relationships.
Setting fees.
Strengthening referral networks.
Creating practice policies and business-related paperwork.
Infusing values into the process of owning a business.
Hiring employees.
Enhance Your Clinical Expertise
Since becoming licensed and no longer receiving supervision, clinical consultation has been one of the most beneficial ways to expand my clinical expertise. I value receiving consultation as much as I do offering it. I have an ongoing commitment to my own learning. I attend both individual consultation and group consultation on an ongoing basis.
My consultation style is processed-based, structured, and experiential. I have a deep respect for the individual values, unique styles and clinical perspectives of the clinicians who work with me. To find out more about my training history and expertise, access my full bio here.
